This Disclaimer explains the limitations of the information provided on Gramodo (gramodo.com) and the conditions under which you may rely on it. By using the website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Disclaimer.

Informational Purpose Only

All content on Gramodo — including weather forecasts, current conditions, hourly and 14-day predictions, air quality indices, pollen levels, marine conditions, radar imagery, astronomical data, and any related information — is provided for general informational purposes only.

While we work with established weather data providers and update our forecasts every hour, we cannot guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data. Weather forecasting is inherently probabilistic, and conditions can change rapidly and locally. Read more about how we forecast and what factors affect accuracy on our methodology page.

No Warranty

The information on Gramodo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. We make no representations or warranties regarding:

  • the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the forecasts;
  • the suitability of the data for any particular purpose;
  • the uninterrupted availability of the website or its features;
  • the freedom of the website from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

Use at Your Own Risk

You use the information on Gramodo at your own risk. We are not responsible for any losses, injuries, damages, or other consequences — direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or otherwise — that may result from your reliance on the forecasts or any other information provided on the website.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • cancelled or disrupted travel plans;
  • property damage caused by weather events;
  • injuries sustained during outdoor activities;
  • health effects related to air quality, pollen exposure, or UV radiation;
  • incidents on water bodies, beaches, or at sea.

Specific Categories of Data

Weather Forecasts

Forecast accuracy decreases with the forecast horizon. The 14-day forecast should be treated as a directional indication, not a precise prediction. Local microclimates — mountains, coasts, large urban areas — can deviate significantly from modeled values.

Air Quality (AQI)

We display the US EPA Air Quality Index based on data from our weather provider. AQI values are estimates and may differ from readings of local monitoring stations. People with respiratory or cardiovascular conditions should follow medical advice and refer to local air quality authorities.

Pollen Levels

The pollen index is based on regional models and may not reflect local conditions accurately. People with severe allergies should consult their physician and use professional allergy forecasting services in addition to Gramodo.

Marine and Water Conditions

Wave height, swell, and water temperature data are estimates suitable for general planning. They are not a substitute for official maritime forecasts. Swimmers, surfers, and small craft operators must consult coast guard advisories and local lifeguard information before going on or in the water. The "high wave" warning displayed on the site is an automatic indicator and does not replace official danger flags or rescue service guidance.

Radar and Live Maps

Precipitation radar imagery is provided by RainViewer and reflects the time of the most recent radar sweep available. Radar data may be delayed or incomplete in some regions and is not real-time in the strict sense.

Third-Party Content

Gramodo displays advertising provided by Google AdSense and may contain links to third-party websites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Clicking on advertisements or external links is at your own discretion and risk.

Service Availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Gramodo may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures, connectivity issues with our data providers, or other reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any consequences resulting from periods of unavailability.

When our cached data becomes outdated due to a connectivity issue, we display a "Data is out of date" warning and provide a manual refresh button. Pay attention to the "Last updated" timestamp on every forecast page.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Gramodo and its owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with:

  • your use of, or inability to use, the website;
  • any reliance on the information provided on the website;
  • any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data;
  • any actions or content of third parties on the website.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal basis of the claim (contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time. The most current version is always available at this URL. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the most recent revision.
